In 2022, we spearheaded a comprehensive digital redesign for Eurostar during a critical merger and rebranding phase, focusing on enhancing the ticket booking experience. Through extensive user research involving twelve customers, we developed user personas and journey maps that illuminated key pain points in the booking process.
This insight guided the creation of a refined UI with improved navigation, search functionality, and booking flow, addressing challenges like train schedules, fare types, and seat selection.
The redesign process involved creating high-fidelity prototypes, conducting user testing with eight participants, and iteratively refining the design based on feedback.
The result was a transformative digital platform that delivered significant business outcomes: an 11% increase in ticket booking conversions, a 15% increase in hotel bookings, and a dramatically improved user experience aligned with Eurostar's new brand identity. The project successfully streamlined the entire online booking journey, making it more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.
